Ace Hotel is celebrating Southern Decadence with CAKE.

AceHotel New Orleans is offering to celebrate Southern Decadence, which you probably know is the city’s annual LGBT festival, over Labor Day weekend.

For the second year, Ace Hotel is celebrating Southern Decadence with CAKE — its 3-day series of decadence featuring dynamic, inclusive and thought-provoking events. For this year’s series, AceHotel has partnered with LGBT groups and leaders in the city and beyond, including:

  • Lesbian and queer bar pop-up Grrlspot and CRESCENDO, which celebrates Black and Brown people of the LGBTQIA+ community. Both will be co-hosting a party that starts at 6pm at The Lobby on Friday 8/30, before moving into Three Keys for a dance party at 10pm. Free with RSVP here.

  • Out Magazine, which will do a live recording of their iHeart Radio podcast “The Outcast” at Three Keys on Saturday 8/31 at 5pm. Free with RSVP here.
  • Queer DJ collective Trax Only, which will present musical artists Charlene, Blew Velvet, & Mister Wallace; Music by Phlegm & FIVE for an evening of music and dance at Three Keys on Saturday 8/31 at 10pm. Free with RSVP here.
  • Franky Canga, “the gender-bending gentleman of New Orleans,” who will be hosting a show at Alto on Sunday, 9/1 from 3:00pm – 6:00pm. Free with RSVP here.

Additionally, Ace Hotel is offering a special promo for people looking to stay at the hotel during Southern Decadence, by using the promo code CAKE.
