New Orleans holding 911 Poster Contest for Kids with a $1000 cash prize

How does $1,000 for both your child and their school sound?

The City of New Orleans wants kids to put their artistic skills to use by drawing a new poster for the city’s 911 service.

The theme must focus on calling 911 for help.

The contest is open to all kindergarten through 12th-grade students across the New Orleans area.

That’s all private, public and Catholic schools located in Orleans Parish only.

Entries can be you medium of choice drawn, colored, painted.

The deadline is Monday, Dec. 2.
