Mommy Daughter Day at the French Quarter Festival photos

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers and mothering souls who love their children and those gifted into their lives unconditionally beyond eternity!

I can’t believe how the years have year has flown past. It was just 2019 since my daughter and I went to the festival but enjoyed ourselves at French Quarter Festival once again. In both 2020 and 2021, the French Quarter Festival, like the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, initially postponed its usual springtime festival to the fall hoping that COVID-19 infection rates would recede. Also like Jazz Fest, the French Quarter Fest also ended up canceling its fall dates.

The festival is produced by the nonprofit French Quarter Festivals Inc Hundreds of thousands of fans of New Orleans music. Food will fill the festival’s footprint, encompassing the Quarter’s streets, Woldenberg Riverfront Park, Jackson Square, and the grounds of the Old U.S. Mint.

It’s a great opportunity to introduce your kids to the music and culture you love. The theme of Chevron Children’s STEM Zone is “STEM Carnival: Motion and Forces.” Kids can learn how motion and forces are a factor in the carnival-style games they will be playing.

There was also an option for parents to become a member of the NOLA.com Fest Family Experience! Member’s hospitality lounges, elevated viewing stands, private bars, air-conditioned restrooms, exclusive programming, and more! Thank you for supporting our mission!
