When I first encountered her embrace, I was only a suckling infant. Her love served as a force field, for it protected me from all dangers. Her strength was unmatched and seldom challenged. The vibrations of her voice comfort me, whenever I felt uneasy.
Her hand was like thunder, whenever I became mischievous.
Her wisdom was oak tress, while her knowledge was Africa. Her resilience was Katrina, and Harvey, while her soul was a Sunday morning.
I’ve never experienced nothing like a Black Woman Love.
